Profiling for a lawyer
A client, when caught in a difficult situation, always relies on professionalism, competence, literacy, and practice. Meanwhile, a lawyer faces a mountain of complex and routine paperwork, which they must work on diligently and thoroughly. Sometimes for months. At night. It is hard. It is exhausting. And before rushing to court — they must prepare defense strategies and analyze everything in detail. And this is just about one case. But there are many. Or two piles. Or even three.
Over time, as they develop, lawyers unite into law associations to simplify work and exchange experience, or hire assistants (including other lawyers), expanding the firm. The number of cases grows even more… As for their workload, that is clear, but regarding the details of cases they must remain silent, since it is impossible to disclose investigation details and so forth publicly. And this literally presses down on their thinking and cuts off rest (recovery) in the evening, prevents sleep at night, because the brain persistently works in a closed loop searching for solutions.
Profiling within a law association or law firm systematically supports lawyers. It represents an entire layer of tools and unique opportunities (like a virtual assistant composed of many multi-tools), which significantly reduce the workload for each individual case and allow lawyers to focus directly on performing their work, rather than searching for connections on their own.
For each case, the profiler discusses strategies with the lawyers, evaluates the risks of various decisions, analyzes the choices made by opponents, and provides information that greatly helps to obtain a complete picture of what has happened, what is happening, and offers analytics for further progress in the case.
By engaging more than 500 tools — including geographic and cultural profiles of all participants in the process, psychological states and tendencies, past traumas, habits, manner of movement or character traits, drives and deviations — the profiler points out what may have escaped the lawyers’ attention but is of crucial importance for resolving the case in favor of the client.
What makes profiling so special and how does it help a lawyer?
First, the profiler is immediately involved in the case. They study the materials together with the lawyers, and the client approves the profiler’s participation in the case. There is no information leakage. This instantly strengthens (!) the lawyer’s work, because it provides a separate, systematic, practically grounded, and very deep perspective. The lawyer receives psychological portraits of the participants in the case, among other insights.
Moreover, during the course of the case, lawyers usually have questions about the behavior of participants in different configurations (brothers, neighbors, mistresses, etc.). Facial expressions, clothing style, changes in behavior, influence on the client, pressure, blackmail — and even after the case is closed.
Second, if necessary, the profiler works with the client as a psychologist, analyzing views, decisions, steps, and the situation as a whole. Not everyone is prepared for betrayal, being cast out of family or business, life’s trials, or the “inadequate” or “adequate” behavior of an opponent. Here, within the framework of the case, the profiler immediately adjusts the client’s state and outlines the steps needed to improve their psycho-emotional condition in order to achieve a common result.
When there are many cases, countless participants, and complex matters — profiling becomes an invaluable universal aid.
Such professional collaborations are highly effective and provide enhanced prospects for resolving cases. In profiling, it is not customary to provide client lists or testimonials (since the information is strictly personal), but in this particular instance, in the client’s interest, I provide the contact of a lawyer who can involve a profiler for behavioral analysis (with the client’s permission and for their benefit)
