All about profiling
NOTES:
Profiling is a unique system of psychological and diagnostic tools, which is able to detect (systematically identify and maximally reveal) the entire behavioral spectrum of the object, emotional state (fluctuations and their causes and features), a cross-section of thinking and features of mental states of a particular personality.
Involvement of a profiler gives an opportunity: to make the most accurate non-contact (using photo and video materials, handwriting, statements, dance, swimming, gait, voice, image and many other things concerning the person under study) to disassemble all structures and systems of the selected object, available and necessary for the period of inquiry to study motives and behavioral attachments of past or subsequent actions, to detail the features of this person without communicating with him/her.
Alisa Anisimova is an expert practitioner of behavioral analysis and profiling. Her capabilities are purely practical system skills and instant results right now, as her work experience allows her to get analytical information about a person by observing him or her for a minimum limited time. 22 years of experience and practice have shaped the profiler-synchronist – through observation we have results in just a moment.
In today’s world there is a lot of low-brow plagiarism, which is cleared the way by trendy online courses promoted by bloggers, opinion leaders, and a variety of self-proclaimed experts. This is no exception in such a serious area as profiling. Therefore, first of all, tell us who has the right to call himself a profiler? What knowledge and experience distinguish a professional profiler from a person who took a profiling course?
Profiling is systemic knowledge. You can’t just take a course or a training course. It is necessary to have a psychological education, clinical practice, speed reaction, sharpened on micromimic zones (I cover about 500 points on the face in a second), sacadic visual movement, specially synchronized with the details of human actions and prediction of movements, experience of practical work more than 20 years (10 of which – mandatory study of at least 150-200 people per day), experience in counseling personalities (at least 15 years), knowledge of physical and chemical processes, anatomy, traumatology, neonatology, forensics, the main business, and the main business. I could go on like this until tomorrow. My job is my life. Either you dedicate yourself wholeheartedly or you don’t have to do it at all.
Courses and trainings are just information about why you should contact professionals, what questions you have, and what they can do to help you. In addition – it is simply interesting and develops a person of any age and experience. And also – you need to look at who is doing the courses and why.
How does digital profiling work and why can’t it replace a human pro and be a competitor in the profession?
Digital profiling is a system of algorithms. You need to know the algorithms and develop them (in both cases, have the mindset of an expert-level profiler and think in terms of sequencing systems for perceiving algorithmic content) to tell programmers how to write software. The number of experts in the field is limited. Their level of expertise varies. Nowadays, many people make software that works on the type of coincidences, horoscopes, numerology, symbols. This is different. It does not give you information about a person’s intentions, for example, in tomorrow’s negotiations on your issue, it will not give you information about the reliability of a person in your personal specific project and his attitude directly to you. So digital solutions do not support you here.
How many years have you personally studied? What directions do you need to take?
If you count from the decision to become a profiler, it’s a lifetime. It is not enough just to learn, you have to practice and maintain your knowledge. Now I have 22 years of practical experience in expert profiling and personology.
From the directions – it is definitely crisis management, psychological marketing, basics of psychiatry. Then – dermatoglyphics, dermatology, morphoscopy, dacteloscopy, neonatology, medicine (a number of directions), physics and chemistry, facial expressions and micromimicry, pathological development (different), accentuation, disorders (different), phenomenal aspects (like “chameleon”, “twins”, “albino”, etc.), victimology – necessarily, relationship psychology, sexology and sexopathology. Need more?
Why is it almost impossible for a professional profiler to be misled?
Experience, practice, deep knowledge, observation and careful vigilance. Not only looks and facial expressions are controlled, but also silhouette, coincidence of thinking (micromimicry of facial areas) with words, timbre, breathing, heartbeat, tact of conversation, voice analysis, pauses, answers, reactions, emotions, eyes, pressure, psychosomatics, presence of character traits, temperament and dynamics of its manifestation, body – mind, body – facial expressions, body – inner state, fear, envy, ambition, strengths and weaknesses of behavior, general modus operandi (behavioral pattern inherent in this particular person), account of disorders, well-being just today, age, religious beliefs, propensity to deviant behavior. And all of these are observed at the same time. So to do this, it’s something you have to live it and love it. Because it’s incredibly difficult practically.
We realize that each job is a separate contract, where there is secrecy, non-disclosure, so you can’t ask about developments, investigations. But it is still very interesting to learn, perhaps there is a story where profiling came in handy or saved the situation?
Once a person asked for help with an incomprehensible situation at an enterprise that was doing well, but money was disappearing somewhere. A scheme was uncovered: the deputy director and a 1C programmer were withdrawing money to the company of an employee who had quit six months earlier.
There was a situation when a mother contacted me about her child’s nervous state and suicidal intentions, and a profile was written with key points, which were then thoroughly worked out. Now this child, as far as I know, has become a psychologist himself and is developing a career.
Vocational guidance, when on the basis of aptitudes the profiler describes possible professions for the customer (parents about the child or the applicant for reorientation), which will become “to the liking” and will bring the maximum effect to the person.
Negotiations. Here profiling gives maximum opportunities. First of all, we find out who is in front of you before (!) negotiations. Skills, the real purpose of the dialog, the tendency to deceive, a lot. Second – during the negotiation (where the weak and strong points of the opponent). And third – what impression after the negotiation and seriousness of intentions.
Profiling is very appropriate in politics, business (security and recruitment, partnership and negotiations) and in relation to personal growth, family problems, difficulties with friends – because in a fairly short time you get maximum information about the person you are interested in, non-contact, because profiling uses photo and video materials for analysis.
I just remembered an interesting situation that happened over 11 years ago. On vacation, I met a woman who had a close relationship with a man she was very proud of. She showed me a photo – and how surprised she was when I told her that this person was copying work documents from the safe in her bedroom. A few days later, she showed up thankfully and said that indeed – he had been selling the work data all along and she had time to fix it because she was just in negotiations with a competitor yesterday and an almost chance meeting and conversation saved her from bankruptcy. By the way, he didn’t even mind. But we know there are no coincidences!
There was also an interesting situation when a person did not listen, or rather did not believe what was written in the profile about her employee-friend. She said that “it can’t be and she knows her surroundings better”. Six months later, this person lost his position and began to lose property because this “friend” had done his best to harm the person and had already profitably and successfully taken a competing position.
Big business owners and government leaders turn to profilers because profiling is a highly effective tool in building relationships, scaling and globalizing processes. It is a highly accurate weapon in a competitive contest and a “magic pill” in personal life. But it must be used wisely and for the good.
