Questions on psychological portrait
As it was announced in our news the service “Face Control” expands the range of its services, cooperating with professional psychologists and physiognomists. Today our questions are answered by practicing psychologist – personologist, physiognomist of the Center for the Study of Personality (CSP) Alisa Anisimova.
1. Alisa, the range of your services is impressive. There is graphological analysis and content-analysis of a person by text and speech, and work with teenagers. Tell me, are each of these areas handled by different people, or does one person lead several areas?

А: In fact, I have come across the fact that it is very difficult to find a professional in the field. Many psychologists do not have the necessary practice in working with people, others are rather poorly prepared in terms of theory. In any case – it is necessary to train specialists, as quality in work is our priority, and our work is specific. Proceeding from this, I have written a training course on preparation of experts in the field of physiognomic analysis – and if a person is really capable, and also is ready after training to become a specialist in practice, I invite him to work in CSP. For today, there are a number of professionals in our directions – but I still study each work very attentively and in detail.

2. How long have you been practicing physiognomy? And what sciences do you need to study in order to read a person correctly?

А: I have been practicing physiognomy for 8 years. It turned out so that I had possibility to be trained both on theory and on practice at Japanese and Chinese masters – physiognomic analyses of different directions, graphology (both Cyrillic and Latin), group of content-analyses (studying of speech, written text and studying “live” at contact) and also, method of personological complex analysis. These are all complex words and no less complex techniques. But they make it possible to study personality with 98% accuracy. That is why I do not like test methods, as they have a large percentage of “error”, because a person who knows the answers will always “bypass” the test. On the above mentioned directions – took years. But for full-fledged and high-quality work on physiognomy and the directions given here, knowledge in the field of psychology (individual, clinical, age, personality, forensic, pathopsychology) is unequivocally necessary. In other words – it is necessary to have the higher psychological education, to pass practical work in a clinic, and also to gain practice of work with people (counseling). Both psychology and pathopsychology (psychology of development of deviations) – give a basis and structure in the head of personologist and physiognomist, clinical psychology – “shows” deviations and disorders, age psychology – features of stage development, etc. But even this is only the basis. It is necessary to constantly improve qualification. That is why I am constantly improving my qualification, to be able to optimally provide multifaceted and qualified services in the study of personality.

3. You analyze risks in the area of criminality. Can you tell me more about it: what is it? Your experience as a psychologist-physiognomist helps you to avoid unpleasant or dangerous situations in your life?

А:Criminal risks is a complex analysis of the Personality, aimed at identifying a number of issues of destructive behavior of the person under study. This analysis makes it possible to identify the propensity for aggression, cruelty, sadism, violation of law and order (as well as the scope and form of the violation) or the rights and freedoms of citizens. In addition, the analysis of criminogenicity risks (ARC) helps to determine the role of the person under study in a destructive group, criminal sphere, situation, as well as to identify the risks in subsequent communication with the person under study (propensity to cheat, steal, betrayal, etc.) Such work is primarily interesting for businessmen, managers and people wishing to marry.

As for the question of using my experience in life – it helps a lot. For example, you can identify a person’s tendency to steal (pickpocket), thus preventing robbery. And also, when communicating, to identify a person’s propensity to deception, manipulation, etc. But the main thing is not to get carried away, as this knowledge has a downside and, sometimes, interferes with sincere communication and perception of the interlocutor.

4. We know that in your work you use special methods of studying a person. If possible, please describe in more detail what they are about and their specifics?

А: Yes, I use so-called “closed techniques” and DPL (Distance Personal Learning) techniques. Closed techniques are techniques that are passed on from teacher to student, so they are not written about in books, as they are something like confidential information or trade secrets. This category includes the method “Lightning” – instant assessment of a person in 3 seconds, allowing to characterize the personality completely, the method “Lo” – demonstrating the positioning of personality and social roles, as well as a number of other “highly technical secrets”. It is the closed techniques that provide the main block of information about a person. DPL techniques – allow to study a person remotely, for example, by photo or video, having seen him on TV or from afar. These are spectral analysis, visual psychodiagnostics, constitutional physiognomy.

5. ВWhether your services can be used in a professional capacity. For example, when hiring employees. If so, are there any examples of this?

А: Of course you can. And it is quite effective. In my training course on “business physiognomy”, there is a whole block on how to do it. It is the personnel sphere – more than any other sphere – that needs to be checked and correct selection of personnel. Besides, I read lectures for consulting companies, and in December I am starting a course of training of personnel personnel on techniques of selection of people for the corresponding vacancies. I invite those who are interested!

6. The next question follows on from the previous one. Do you provide information about third parties?

А: If I understand correctly, if a person orders a service of studying someone else rather than himself, is it possible? Yes. This is how recruitment agencies, business consulting, as well as “gift” service and many other things work. But if the question is “do you give information about what you study to other people?” – the answer is no. All work with the client – confidential, and even in case of refusal of work by the customer – the executed work is removed.

7. The compatibility portrait for two people is very interesting in your list of services. Have you ever counseled couples who are completely unsuitable for each other? What do you do in such cases?

А: A compatibility portrait is the work of analyzing two people to determine if they are right for each other. It is a written analysis with recommendations and questions asked by clients. The portrait is a summation that provides an opportunity to find those nuances that prevent or promote a harmonious relationship between these people. And whatever the percentage of compatibility – the decision is made by both of them. If they see problems in what the portrait shows them – they simply order a follow-up face-to-face/distance consultation, but already on the problematic issues and then the search for solutions takes place.

8. Have you often seen people act in completely unpredictable ways? Things that are out of character with the general psychological profile. Things that even you couldn’t foresee?

А: Working with people is working with their psyche. Basically, there is thinking, perception, behavior, reactions. They are logical and illogical – either way. But there are certain limits – culture, age, perception, psychological health – in which this or that person is. If those frames are shifted – it can be the cause of emotional states, altered consciousness (alcohol, stress, etc.). If they are shifted most of the time in relation to the life activity of the person under study – this may be the cause of addictions/complexes, disorders, diseases of different nature, deviations and pathological development in general. Therefore, as a rule, the first priority in work is to define these frames, frames of so-called “individual normality” – in relation to this particular person, so that then not to be surprised and not to be distracted by it. A person’s face gives all possibilities to define these “frames”.

9. And lastly, tell me if there are any mysteries left for you in the human soul?

А:I hope that there is a huge number of them, which will be enough for my whole life, because the irresistible desire to “solve” them is the meaning and driving mechanism in my work, my personal growth and development. And with each solution, I want to acquire a number of new riddles in order to analyze each Personality and its problem as deeply as possible, helping people to understand themselves.
